you know how places can scan your photo and put it on a cake using some sort of weird printer?
well i thought it would be cool to make a desert island and have it printed onto my cake. Then i took some lego pirates and had them wandering on the cake, and with a fork, cut a hole in the cake and layed a lego treasure chest in there. It was pretty cool looking, and it tasted alright too

the cake was good but waay too big. it could have fed like 30 people seriously.
to get the effect on the edges was just regular old photoshop brushes set to about 25% opacity, and ran them over the edges with white a ton of times.
